Having over 40 years of experience, we perform commercial preparation services since 2002. We operate a well-equipped lab for cleaning, trimming and repair/restoration of collector quality mineral specimens. Our aim is to develop the full potential of the specimen, without visible traces of treatment.

For submitting specimens to preparation work, please contact us via e-mail or phone. 

Charges are calculated by the actual time consumption, at a rate of 1500 CZK per hour (ca 62 €, depending on exchange rate). For large specimens, we charge an additional fee - over 6 kg or 30 cm long 2,000 CZK (ca 82 €) / specimen, over 10 kg 5,000 CZK (ca 205 €) / specimen. For exceptionally valuable specimens, we reserve the right to an individual price calculation. When specimens are submitted, we will offer our best estimate of the costs for the desired work and of completion date.

Typical costs are as follows:

Trimming, cabinet size specimen: 40 – 150 €

Chemical and physical cleaning and treatments: 20 – 250 €

Stabilizing, crack filling: 20 – 80 €

Repair, restoration: on request

We do the best possible for safety of treated specimens. Nevertheless, please note that all laboratory services are performed at customer’s risk.
